Sharing on Umovit
Public information
Some of the information you give us when you fill out your profile is public, such as your age range, sex, language and country. We also use a part of your profile, called your Public Profile, to help connect you with friends and family. Your Public Profile includes your name, username and user ID (@...), your avatars (pops) and your videos (moves). This info is also public and may be viewed by any other user.
Content you share publicly
  • Videos (moves): All the videos (moves) that you post on your profile can be seen by any other user regardless of your followers and followings.
  • Avatars (pops): All the avatars (pops) that the user makes in Umovit, automatically become part of the Umovit Community, and can be used by any other user without the need of any authorization by the user who created it and without being subject to any penalty, and you understand and agree that.
  • Interaction: All comments and likes you make on any video (move), both yours and another user's, may be viewed or read by any other user.
If you remove information that you posted to Umovit, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages of the Service. Likewise, if you want us to, we will delete your account completely, some of your videos (moves) or avatars (pops) may remain visible on the Service.
You can deactivate your account by requesting it through the Feedback in your account settings, or by writing to umovit@umovit.com.
Content others share or reshare about you
We recommend that you think about the content that you publish in Umovit, since any user can decide to share it with other people, outside of Umovit. For example, if you share a video (move) in your profile, anyone can download it or share it again with other people inside or outside Umovit. Likewise, when you comment on a video (move), yours or someone else's, anyone who sees it can also see your comment.
People can also use our Service to create and share content about you. For example, any user can create and share a video (move) in which they have used your avatar or a version made by any other user, without your authorization and without being subject to any penalty, and you understand and agree that. They can also mention you in a comment or share information about you in their posts.
If you are uncomfortable with what others have shared about you on our Service, please contact us at umovit@umovit.com to evaluate your case.
New owner
If we sell or otherwise transfer part or the whole of Umovit or our assets to another organization, your information such as name and email address, User Content and any other information collected through the Service may be among the items sold or transferred. You will continue to own your User Content. The buyer or transferee will have to honor the commitments we have made in this Privacy Policy.
Sharing with Third-Party
We don't sell any of your information to anyone, and we never will. We share information about you with third-party partners that aggregate it to obtain analytics and measurement reports that help us improve our Service.
IV. How do we respond to legal requests or prevent harm?
We access, preserve and share your information with regulators, law enforcement or others:
Information we receive about you can be accessed and preserved for an extended period when it is the subject of a legal request or obligation, governmental investigation, or investigations of possible violations of our terms or policies, or otherwise to prevent harm. We also retain information from accounts disabled for terms violations for at least a year to prevent repeat abuse or other term violations.
V. How can I manage information about me?
We provide you with the ability to access and modify your data in the Settings in your profile.
We store data until it is no longer necessary to provide our services, or until your account is deleted - whichever comes first. This is a case-by-case determination that depends on things like the nature of the data, why it is collected and processed, and relevant legal or operational retention needs.
When you delete your account, we delete things you have posted, such as your videos (moves), your avatar (pop) and all the versions that you have made of it and will not appear in Umovit searches, and you won't be able to recover that information later. Nevertheless, information that others have shared about you isn't part of your account and won't be deleted. For example, if one of your avatars (pops) was used in a video (move) posted by another user, this avatar will continue to be seen in that video.
VI. How do we operate and transfer data as part of our global services?
We share information globally, internally within Umovit, with those you connect and share with around the world in accordance with this policy. Your information may, for example, be transferred or transmitted to, or stored and processed in the United States or other countries outside of where you live for the purposes as described in this policy.
